ON THE RUN IN SPAIN 2009

Whilst out one day my neighbour who I paid to watch my flat rang me to say the police had came round 15 strong to arrest me, With all the police interest and charges mounting up I decided to go on the run. Having access to a villa in Aymonte Spain I had somewhere to stay and set up business, not being able to return to the flat I left for Spain with only a few clothes and some equipment I needed to keep working while abroad. This was April 2009, arriving in Ayamonte i got Mikee and Jo straight into school, me and Laura was not getting on and it was a miserable time there for the first few months until Laura had to go back to England for her trial for possession of the Gun she got found with back in 2006, leaving the kids with me she went back and got found guilty! She screamed at me on the phone telling me she hated me.

I enjoyed being the daddy and making the kids packed lunches for school etc and doing the daddy bit, me and the kids really bonded and had some great fun, after 3 or 4 months my mate Rocky came over and we wanted to party a bit so I sent him back with the kids and he dropped them round my sisters, returning the next week we spent a month partying. When he left I wanted the kids back so I got Rockys girlfriend Zoe to fly them back over for me, she ended up staying for 6 weeks and helped look after the kids with me, nothing went on between us and we became friends, she baby sat while I went to see some Moroccan friends for a night out now and then.

MARBELLA

During this time I was involved in a fella that lived in Marbella, he later moved to Australia and left me with a chance to do some business. The drive to Marbella took about 4 hours, arriving I was greeted by some London lads, the kids were being looked after back at the villa by zoe, I was in Marbella for a few days sorting some business, sat round the table outside a bar on the strip were me a couple of London lads, an Irish fella and a fisherman from south America, it wasn’t coffee we was talking about! I flew over a couple of my Asian mates from the uk and set up a few meets, being handed a .32 revolver by one of the London lads, I was told not to go into the area of their rivals, my mate was safely in Australia having set me up in this deal which was now getting heavy, I can’t be pacific but it was starting to resemble a scene from the movie scarface! With talk of 100s of kilos. I spent a few days partying in Marbella in the fellas club that had hosted me, a few bits of business set up and I went back to my area and my kids, I later pulled out of any business only to return to Marbella to party and to evict some fella out of my mates apartment. I hated Marbella, too busy and full of gangsters, people were getting shot all over the place and it was dog eat dog! I didn’t need this hassle as the money I was making from motors was a lot more than a % from any deals these guys put on the table. It was madness and I was glad to get away from it. Back in beautiful Aymonte I relaxed with the kids and thoughts of going back to the uk entered my mind.

BIG LIZ

After zoe went back to England my Moroccan and Spanish friends would come to the villa and we would hold pool parties on a regular basis, one night I was alone the door went, Big Liz stood there asking me if I had any wine?!? It was about 11pm and out of courtesy I invited her in, it soon became clear she was wanted more than wine! This was the first time I had spoken to her having only waved politely as I drove past her, I didn’t want to get too close to the English as I was on the run and didn’t want to get grassed up instead preferring to mix with the locals.

However Rumour had got round the English residents that a mystery man was living in the area, (me) she told me she had been dared to come and speak to me and used the wine thing as an excuse. A few hours later she had made herself comfortable and was laying on my sofa and didn’t look like she was leaving! Not one to turn down a bit of female attention however this time I did politely decline. Liz is a large blonde haired woman and more of a sister then a anything else. After trying everything to hint I wanted her to leave she still wouldn’t budge. After we got talking it came about she knew a few faces in London and was on a level, acting out my mysterious label I pulled out a hand gun and started to strip it down hoping this would speed up her exit, It didn’t work and she remained firmly on the sofa, I went to bed thinking she would leave only to wake up the next morning and find her still there! I later got rid of that shooter by throwing it in a river.

RETURN TO UK

I decided to come back the England and me and the kids set off late October 2009 by car, I had sorted out a passport and arranged the ferry from Bilboa to Southampton. Just me mikee and Joanna made the 600 mile drive from south Spain to the port of Bilboa, arriving late at night we had to wait till the next morning for the ferry to open, I bedded the kids down in the car, making Jo her own little place in the back, me and Mikee slept in the front seats, during the early hours I noticed a man walking around the edge of the port, he was wearing a rain coat with the hood up and looked like someone from a horror movie, I watched him walking around for a bit then went over the talk to him, he told me he had done a tour of Spain on his motor bike after losing his wife, his son was a pastor and we got speaking about God, I can’t remember much about the conversation other then it was a bit mysterious especially the encouragement the man gave me about God and straightening my life out, I didn’t tell him much but he kind of knew I was in trouble and I listened enthusiastically to his kind encouraging advice. Mikee must have woken up during my chatting as told me later he remembered the scary looking man with the hood.

Getting through Spanish passport control was easy and we boarded the ferry, we spent the night watching the entertainment and i did a trick with a ten pound note by ripping it half and turning it into a 20. Mikee and Jo fell for it and it entertained them. I popped into the casino and had a little go on red or black, I didn’t notice dropping my wallet until a man gave it back to me, I felt it was time to go to the cabin and to bed.

The next day the ferry pulled into the dock in Southampton, and we went to the car, unloading I was nervous, passports ready we approached the passport control, I handed them over and the customs man asked me why I was travelling alone with two young children, then Jo answered for me shouting out that her mum was in prison for a gun! He waved us through and we got stopped again by the armed policeman, he asked me a few questions, my heart pounding I thought he would run a check on me, but he didn’t and told me to go through. Meeting my mum and Mick on the other side I swapped into a fresh clean car and they took the kids back home, I remained in Southampton.

Staying on my families travellers site for a few days was ok, but knowing I would be in jail soon I booked myself into a 5 star hotel and lived it up for the next 4 weeks and it didn’t cost a penny! I booked the hotels using a metro card, it had a limit of £3.500 and once the hotel had preauthorised the card I was free to withdraw the money and run up a bill, which I did!

Staying in the best hotel in Bournemouth I ran up a bill of just under £4.000. eating the best food and drinking the best champagne. I even got the manager drunk on Jonny walker whisky! I told them all I was a property developer, the manager was ok and the day before it came on top he tried to warn me telling me my card had run its limit. That was my queue to leave but I thought I could get one more night out of it. I was wrong and the next day I got locked out of my room, all my belongings including some bland logbooks were locked inside and I had no choice but to try and blag my way into the room. The area manager turned on me calling the police, by now I had got some good identity documents and knew I could face the police without them finding out my real name, the police turned up and didn’t even ask my name, the wpc asked if I could pay the £3800 bill, I said not yet and she nicked me without further questioning. I was surprised as this was surly a civil matter? With all my belongings from the room I was taken to the police station, however things went wrong for me as one of the staff had noticed I had 2 cars parked in the car park opposite the hotel, a 2006 BMW M5 and a 2007 Peugeot 207, both were just about to be sold and a friend was with the cars waiting for the man to come and buy them, this was my money to come out of jail too. Once the police checked out the cars that were linked to me they knew who I was and I was taken to Reading crown court to face the warrants.

Once at court I was charged with Robbery of the g4s cash box, burglary of the Bentley garage, burglary of the Audi garage where two RS4 Audi were taken, burglary of the ford garage where 6 brand new Transit vans had been taken, and burglary of a garage selling a Bagatti Vayron! And Failing to surrender to bail. I was remanded to HMP Bulligdon, the month was October 2009.
